Questions before the beta

Can FinishQuote scan a room today?
The current beta uses manual, contractor-verified room dimensions. RoomPlan scanning is coming later and will keep manual correction as a fallback.
Are quantities construction-drawing accurate?
No. FinishQuote produces estimate-grade quantities from the dimensions and material settings entered. Site measurements, openings, layout, pattern repeats, packaging, labour, and supplier pricing must be verified before acceptance or ordering.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. The beta's core project, room, material, quote, and PDF workflow is local-first. Production cloud sync is not enabled yet.
Who can join the first beta?
We are starting with New Zealand painters, flooring contractors, tilers, and small renovation contractors who can test the workflow on representative jobs.
